Biography

In the heart of Breda, a new sound has emerged, echoing the soulful melodies of the American South. Mount Mono is redefining the Southern Rock genre for a new generation.

The foundation of their sound is a solid rhythm section, meticulously crafted over twenty years. This rhythmic backbone is the heartbeat of their music, setting the pace for the immersive experience that follows. It's a testament to the dedication and passion of the band members, who have spent years honing their craft.

But what truly sets Mount Mono apart is their ability to transport listeners. The guitar riffs, both electrifying and nostalgic, have a way of pulling you into the music, making you feel as though you're right there in the room with the band. It's a raw, unfiltered experience that's reminiscent of the classic Southern Rock bands of yesteryears.

Yet, it's the vocals that seal the deal. They wrap around you like a warm embrace, leaving a permanent mark on your soul. It's a feeling that's hard to describe, but once you've experienced it, you'll find yourself craving more. It's an ecstasy of music, a euphoria that lingers long after the last note has been played.

Founded in 2020, Mount Mono may be a relatively new name in the music scene, but they carry with them a legacy of sound that spans decades.

Mount Mono has already made waves in the music industry, with a series of notable concerts that have highlighted their talent and unique sound. In 2022, they were the support act for John Paul Keith, a renowned musician from Knoxville, Tennessee, USA, at Mezz Breda. This was a significant milestone for the band, as it showcased their ability to hold their own alongside established musicians.

In the same year, they performed at Breda Barst, a popular music festival in their hometown. This was a homecoming of sorts for the band, as they took the stage in front of a crowd of locals who have supported them since their inception.

And then, there were the Rollende Keukens festivals in Amsterdam, the bands personal favourite concerts. As part of the biggest food truck festival in Europe, Mount Mono took the stage in front of 10,000 visitors in 2022 and again in 2023. These performances were a testament to the band's growing popularity and the universal appeal of their music.

Keep an eye out for Mount Mono as their next EP will be released next month and has been for a year…
